It’s time to introduce a restaurant we’ve been frequenting for nearly five years. Today, we’re stepping away from our usual focus on authentic Asian cuisine and diving into the realm of mouthwatering burgers. Because let’s face it—good food has no boundaries, no matter where it comes from!

Heroes Premium Burgers has become a true legend in Frankfurt, earning its spot as one of the city’s top burger joints. Since 2011, they’ve specialized in 100% homemade burgers, snagging numerous awards, including multiple first-place wins in Frankfurt Geht Aus. What’s even cooler? The entire restaurant revolves around a superhero theme. From comic-inspired wall art to the logo and menu, everything celebrates iconic heroes like Superman and Batman—or even villains like the Joker.
While we don’t consider ourselves die-hard burger fans, Heroes Premium Burgers won us over with their incredible variety of unique creations. And, as you might expect from us, we’re especially drawn to their extra spicy options, like fresh jalapeños and chili sauce.
What’s on the menu?
The star of the show is, of course, their burgers. You’ll find a wide selection of beef patties, chicken burgers, and vegetarian options, all paired with mouthwatering toppings like caramelized bacon, peanut butter, guacamole, gourmet cheeses, fresh veggies, and a range of sauces.
In addition to the burgers, there’s a great selection of sides, including crispy fries (available in regular or sweet potato), dipping sauces like Cajun aioli or cilantro mayo, salads, chicken nuggets, garlic bread, baked potatoes, and corn on the cob.
Feeling extra hungry? Dig into spare ribs or nachos. We’ve mainly focused on the burgers so far, but the rest of the menu is definitely worth exploring.
For the little ones, there’s a classic kids’ menu, while dessert lovers can enjoy treats like fried ice cream and churros. These desserts aren’t our personal favorites, so we’ve skipped them so far—but they’re sure to please anyone with a sweet tooth.

One of the best things about Heroes is their limited-time specials, featuring creative burger combinations and unique toppings. As fans of Asian flavors, we couldn’t resist their Asian-inspired burger: a bold creation featuring Sichuan pepper oil, chili cucumbers, sesame mayo, and fresh onions. It’s spicy, nutty, creamy, and refreshing all at once.

Heroes offers a solid selection of drinks, including classic soft drinks, juices, spritzers, alcoholic beverages, coffee, and tea. When dining in, we usually opt for their house-made lemonades, which are slightly sweet but still delicious. Our top picks? The elderflower-ginger lemonade and the strawberry lemonade.
Sides:
Depending on our appetite, we go for a small or large portion of fries. The fries are perfectly crispy, fluffy, and not overly salty, served with classic condiments like ketchup, mayo, and aioli. Their ketchup stands out with its rich, fruity tomato flavor—much better than your standard fare.
For something lighter, the mixed salad is a great choice, combining fresh veggies like tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, romaine lettuce, corn, and olives, all tossed in a bold dressing.

Now, onto the main event—the burgers! Our top picks are the Horny Boy and the Dirty Pain.

- Dirty Pain: This one’s not for the faint of heart! A juicy beef patty is loaded with fresh chilies, jalapeños, spicy pain sauce, and harissa seasoning for an intense heat.
